INDCO's folding impellers solve the problem of agitating liquids in drums, IBC totes or other closed vessels with small openings. This 4" model has a 1/2" bore and collapses to fit through 2" or larger openings when in the folded position. Mixer shaft rotation expands the 304 stainless steel blades to the full 4" operating diameter. The left hand blade profile produces downward flow when viewed from above and is effective for blending liquids or suspending solids in primers, paints or other products where settling may occur. Multiple impellers can be utilized on a single shaft to achieve greater agitation. Each impeller is secured using two set screws.
