INDCO's polished 316 stainless steel 4-blade axial flow turbines are ideal for sanitary mixing of medium viscosity materials. Axial flow turbines generate higher shear than hydrofoils or marine style propellers. The 2" blade width and the 45 degree pitch angle produce aggressive agitation to move viscous liquids and break down particles. The left hand design produces downward fluid motion with clockwise rotation as viewed from above. The 7" diameter model has a maximum bore size of 1-1/2" and comes without set screws as standard. It features blades that are welded to the hub, finish machined to tight tolerances and polished to a #4 buffed mirror finish. Surface finishes as fine as 15Ra with certificate of conformance can be provided, and material certifications are also available. Please contact us for a quote.
