INDCO's polished 3-blade axial flow turbines are excellent sanitary impellers for medium viscosity applications and provide higher shear than hydrofoils or marine style propellers. The 3" blade width and the 45 degree pitch angle produce aggressive agitation to move viscous liquids and break down particles. The left hand design produces downward fluid motion with clockwise rotation as viewed from above. The 17" diameter model has a maximum bore size of 2-1/2" and comes without set screws. Please specify bore size when ordering. This 316 stainless steel axial flow turbine features blades that are welded to the hub, finish machined to tight tolerances and polished to a #4 finish. Surface finishes as fine as 15Ra with certificate of conformance can be provided. Material certifications are also available. Please contact us for a quote.
